Artist Statement

2 & 3/4 Dimensions

My true passion resides between the boundaries of two dimensional and three dimensional art. In the framework of my creations a puzzle begins. So many elements come together with a dramatic finality; secured forever in time.

These installations are designed to alter space by utilizing this fusion. Exploring the levels of the work challenges you to take an interactive perspective. Each piece transforms when viewed in different angles and lighting, depicting a new persona. The integration of bright bold colors brings warmth and excitement to public and private enclosures.

Expanding the realm of abstraction, color and form, the works are created with paint, wood, and clay. Using a progressive curving line the viewer’s eye perpetually dances about the undulating shapes. These multi-dimensional installations blur the boundaries and rules of the art world truly owning a new dimension.
